Take a Break in a Scottish Seafront Pod

Luxury Scottish Pod

“absolutely beautiful, clean and peaceful, we highly recommend it.”

What could be more picturesque than spending time in a Scottish seafront pod? This blissful – if windy – pod offers excellent seaside space in summertime, while making a romantic getaway for a writing retreat or sea glass collecting holiday. Aberdeen is not so far away, and the east coast of Scotland has the better weather. Here is everything you should know before you book.

Sandhaven is a lovely stretch of coastline near Aberdeen. It’s around 22 miles from Dalgatie Castle, but it has some fantastic attractions along the way. Drive north to Peterhead or south to Perth, Dunfermline, or Montrose. Enjoy the craggy coastline from your own seaside cottage.

We know Scotland isn’t known for sunshine, but those little seaside cottages are amazing in a storm. When the waves are crashing and the sky is dark and the rain is lashing down but you have the fire and the double glazing… those are the best days.

This air conditioned pod has 1 bedroom, a living space, a kitchenette and a private bathroom.
