About the Cave
This building is unique in that it is a refurbished cave home. In olden-day France, cave dwellers were a common enough site. Caves were warm and dry, didn’t require cooling in summer, and didn’t require building. This is your chance to live like a 15th century French hermit for a week or so. You can even get out and explore the vineyard, enjoy the river Loire which runs not 300 yards from your door, and play some darts.
This stay features a generously sized space, suitable for three couples sharing or a large family. They call the house the Trog’Laudy in the heart of the vines. We couldn’t sum it up better ourselves.
